Position Overview:
The Facility Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily functions of a Scoular facility, ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees on-site. This role includes directing non-exempt laborers, aiding in the recruitment and training processes, and playing a crucial operational role to enhance Scoular's capabilities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business managers and merchants to coordinate transportation and maintenance needs, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Maintain accountability for product quality, inventory levels, and the flow of inbound and outbound products.
- Ensure that all equipment is operational, safe, and well-maintained.
- Deliver exceptional service to customers and guide vendors and clients through daily operations.
- Possess a fundamental understanding of merchandising and accounting to identify and contribute to revenue-generating initiatives.
- Execute operational and merchandising strategies effectively within the facility and trade unit.
- Promote and lead the Employee Safety agenda, striving for continuous improvement in safety practices.

Safety Compliance:
- Partner with the Safety Team to uphold the safety of the workforce by adhering to all applicable regulations.
- Conduct monthly safety meetings, training sessions, and inspections of the location.

Team Leadership:
- Supervise and support facility staff in their daily tasks, ensuring labor scheduling meets operational demands.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and guidance of assigned personnel, fostering an inclusive and motivating work environment.
- Identify and engage in collaborative opportunities across different business units.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Results-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain situational awareness.
- Good hearing and vision, with mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Knowledge of elevator operations and blending processes is advantageous.
- A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience is required, along with 0-2 years in recruitment or additional supervisory roles.
