We are seeking a skilled Medical Examiner to join our team at MRG Exams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

Job Summary

The Medical Examiner will be responsible for performing medical assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day. This is an in-person position that requires the ability to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.

About the Role

This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm) with a set schedule during normal business hours and no on-call requirements. As a Medical Examiner, you will not treat patients or prescribe medication. Your primary focus will be on performing Disability Assessments, which involves reviewing medical records electronically through a web portal and conducting focused, in-person physical exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
  • Conduct in-person physical exams on 3-5 Veterans per day
  • Document exam findings electronically through the web portal
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license. You should also be proficient in using a computer and possess excellent time management skills.
