Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to expectant mothers and their newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, including fetal monitoring and maternal vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Participate in emergency situations, including code blues and obstetric emergencies.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
Requirements:
- Current Alaska RN license.
- 1 year of experience in OB/L&D or a related field.
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, and PALS certifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
