Industrial Maintenance Manager

Balcones Recycling is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance systems and oversee the continuous improvement of our processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing long-term strategic plans and ensuring the efficient repair of company equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead maintenance teams to ensure efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates
- Coordinate work performed by outside vendors and ensure compliance with OEMs and regulatory agencies operating standards
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance works order procedures
- Ensure proper equipment lubrication in compliance with OEMs lubrication schedule
- Develop familiarity with and ensure compliance with safety, health, environment, and community company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Technical School Preferred
- Previous supervisory skills in a diverse, fast-paced manufacturing/production environment
- Excellent mechanical ability and strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and work from a set of written instructions
- Basic computer skills
- Must speak and understand English; Spanish speaking is a plus
- One year minimum mechanical repair related experience in a heavy industrial setting or equivalent combination of education and experience

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
