Responsibilities:

  • Greet Guests: Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Take Orders: Take guest orders, process payment, and make accurate change, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
  • Prepare Drinks: Prepare high-quality drinks to our guests' specifications, using our state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Count Money: Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Address Concerns: Address guest concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Clean and Stock: Clean and stock the coffee shop, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Complete Tasks: Complete all assigned tasks in a timely, friendly, and professional manner, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Maintain Sanitation: Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas, adhering to company guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Age: Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Food Handler's Permit: Have a food handler's permit and/or obtain one within 7 days of starting.
  • Education: Enrollment in high school; high school diploma or equivalent is preferable.
  • Teamwork: Successful team members are service-oriented, with a focus on both guests and team members.
  • Communication: Good communication skills, with the ability to interact comfortably with customers and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to take initiative and problem-solve in a professional manner.
  • Math Skills: Basic math skills are critical, with the ability to handle cash and make accurate change.

Physical Demands:

  • Standing: Stand for long periods of time.
  • Bending: Bend and stoop to perform tasks.
  • Heat: Work around heat, with exposure to kitchen environment.
  • Close Quarters: Work in close quarters with others.
  • Movement: Move throughout the restaurant to perform assigned tasks.
  • Lifting: Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Cleaning Products: Work with various cleaning products.

Work Environment:

Working conditions sometimes involve exposure to excessive heat and cold associated with kitchen environment. Exposure to various foods, cleaning chemicals, sharp utensils, and hazardous food preparation equipment.
