The ARM GROUP is seeking a Human Resources Manager for our growing Client in Springfield, MO


Position Summary:


The Human Resources Manager is responsible for delivering comprehensive Human Resources related programs, support, and services. The Human Resources Manager must maintain current knowledge of legal requirements, be able to resolve complex Human Resources issues, analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, consult with site leadership, and provide overall Human Resources guidance and support.


Responsibilities will include recruitment, developing and implementing retention strategies, employee relations, Workers' Compensation and FMLA administration, performance management, site communications, and training. Direct reports include a Human Resources Coordinator.


Salary - 75k to 80k annually


Responsibilities:


  • Support and facilitate the recruitment process from headcount approval to induction. Note: The company is experiencing tremendous growth and recruitment is currently a primary focus for the HR Team.
  • Responsible for all on-site HR systems, policies, procedures, and support administration.
  • Partner with Global HR and site leadership teams to implement HR best practices.
  • Provide support for the company benefits systems and assist in the development of these benefits.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all policies, procedures, and practices are compliant with Employment Laws available to all employees and managers.
  • Responsible for working with Learning & Development (L&D) to establish and implement L&D strategy and training plans.
  • Take a leadership role in building and maintaining a great company culture.
  • Take a proactive role in ensuring employee needs are addressed.
  • Provide support to the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) function on-site as needed to ensure legal obligations are met and a safety-driven culture is maintained.
  • Proactive management of employee relations issues.
  • Take an active role in identifying and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ability to travel when required.
  • Execute other tasks as assigned.
  • Will play an active role in identifying and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities.


Requirements


  • 6 years of general Human Resources experience, with a minimum of 2 years as a Human Resource Manager or Human Resources Business Partner.
  • HR certification, such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR, is preferred.
  • Background in manufacturing preferred.
  • Prior experience with full life cycle recruitment including educational outreach and online strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze HR data and metrics to drive informed decision-making.
  • Technical proficiency including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications & HRIS. Paylocity experience is a plus.
  • Experience leading and developing direct reports.
  • A confident self–starter with the ability to work on their initiative.
  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Prior experience with employment-based visa processing a plus.
  • Excellent organization, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
  • Awareness of and prior experience with implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) desired.
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience a plus.
