Job Summary:

NESCO Inc is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting multiple product types from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test products to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Work closely with the operations support team to meet production goals and maintain quality expectations
  • Prepare orders for shipping with proper documentation and complete all related paperwork
  • Assist with lean activities and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols
  • Flex to other areas as the production schedule dictates and perform other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Over three years of related experience or equivalent
  • Ability to identify colors and read and understand work instructions and assembly drawings
  • Familiarity with various mechanical and electrical measuring equipment
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards, ability to manage priorities and workflow, and acute attention to detail
  • Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance and understand any and all safety requirements and cautions

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl

  • Frequently required to communicate orally

  • Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions
