Job Overview

Top Tier Reps LLC is seeking a seasoned Nursing Department Head to lead and manage the nursing team within their behavioral health facility in Vancouver, WA. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality behavioral health services, including crisis stabilization, inpatient care, and outpatient treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee nursing operations and ensure adherence to the facility's philosophy of care.
  • Act as a liaison between physicians, patients, referral sources, and staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Implement and support the organization's philosophy of care and program objectives.
  • Prepare and review monthly reports on departmental performance and patient outcomes.
  • Ensure that all nursing practices adhere to state regulations and facility standards.
  • Promote career growth and development opportunities for nursing staff.
  • Oversee flexible scheduling and ensure a fully onsite presence to support staff and patient needs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Licensing: Current, unencumbered nursing license from the State Board of Nursing
  • Experience: Prior experience in behavioral health or psychiatric health settings is required; leadership experience in inpatient behavioral health or psychiatric care is preferred.
