Job Summary

The Certified Medical Assistant is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical staff in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality direct patient care, including vital signs, patient interviews, and electronic documentation.
  • Assist providers and other clinical staff with patient care and administrative duties, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
  • Prepare patients for examination, perform physical tests, and take vitals as needed.
  • Deliver compassionate support and assistance to patients and families, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant standards.
  • Aid staff, physicians, and other faculty as needed, providing support and expertise.
Requirements
  • Medical Assistant Certification or Registration required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of prior experience in a medical setting preferred.
