Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of properties, including routine repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Supervise and manage a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and direction as needed.
  • Ensure that all maintenance work is completed in a timely and efficient manner, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure that properties are well-maintained and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including property management and customer service, to ensure that maintenance work is aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and expenses, ensuring that costs are controlled and optimized.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring that maintenance work is completed to a high standard.
  • Ensure that all maintenance staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and ensure that work is completed to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement procedures for handling maintenance emergencies and after-hours calls.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or property management.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
  • HVAC, plumbing, CPO, and electrical certifications desired.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work weekends, overtime, and in cases of emergencies.
