Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale (MHC). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient outcomes and make data-driven changes to the plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and their families regarding respiratory disease processes, treatment options, and discharge plans.
  • Accept reassignments to other units as needed to ensure optimal patient care and team coverage.
  • Share clinical knowledge and expertise with staff and students, serving as a role model for clinical practice and excellence.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide respiratory care services as ordered by physicians, maintaining open communication with medical and nursing staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
