We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for an immediate travel position in Carbondale, IL.

Job Summary:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide direct patient care to patients in various clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment.
  • Evaluate equipment for proper function and report malfunctions.
  • Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
  • Interact with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of recent acute care experience.
  • BLS, ACLS, and RRT certifications.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift 20 pounds, and have specific vision abilities.

Please note that additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
