About the Role

think-cell Software GmbH is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Account Manager to lead our Go-to-Market activities in North America. This role encompasses Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, with a primary focus on driving user growth through sales activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and expand a territory, balancing new customer acquisition with nurturing existing accounts.
  • Own the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing, including lead generation, qualification, value proposition presentation, solution demonstration, and negotiation.
  • Conduct cold calls and outreach to new teams at existing customers to explain the value proposition and convert prospects into loyal customers.
  • Exercise independent thinking and initiative to achieve sales goals, receiving guidance and support from leadership.
  • Run account forensics to enable a data-driven sales approach, customized to individual customers.
  • Execute strategic sales plays tailored to specific customer profiles.
  • Follow up on leads and inbound requests in your territory, maximizing conversion rates of trials.
  • Localize and run marketing campaigns, with support from our central team.
  • Enable post-deal product adoption, including trainings, supported by a central enablement team.
  • Monitor customer health and detect potential churn.
Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a commercial role, such as account management, sales, customer success, or business development, in a SaaS or software company, preferably in a start-up or scale-up setting.
  • University Degree, preferably in business or computer science, or a related field.
  • Local work experience in China.
  • Experience navigating organizational structures and corporate dynamics of large customers.
  • Understanding of common GTM tools.
  • Excellent virtual communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Appreciation of our product and willingness to understand think-cell's product.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Tokyo, minimum of 3 days/week.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in English.
