Private Duty Registered Nurse

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled Private Duty Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Private Duty RN, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. Our patients require continuous care and support, and we need a dedicated and compassionate nurse to help us deliver the best possible care.
Responsibilities
As a Private Duty RN, you will be responsible for implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care, conducting patient assessments, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. You will also administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies, and document care provided in our system of record. Additionally, you will provide health promotion, teaching, and training to family members, and follow up with physicians, clients, and staff on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have an active, unencumbered RN license in the state in which you will practice, and current CPR certification from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS. You must also have six months prior hands-on nursing experience, and reliable transportation. Benefit eligibility is dependent upon employment status.
