Position Overview:
Our client, a leader in renewable energy, is seeking a Buying Professional to enhance their procurement team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement commodity strategies to secure a sustainable and cost-effective supply of materials.
- Ensure adherence to globally defined methods and processes to maintain high efficiency and compliance in procurement activities.
- Conduct negotiations aimed at achieving optimal savings for the organization.
- Document and implement savings initiatives to support business success and transparency.
- Manage supplier processes, including qualification, selection, and evaluation.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and early involvement in procurement processes.
- Provide project-specific supplier evaluations and insights to support project goals.
- Assist in supplier procedures, including audits and market research, to enhance supply chain management.
- Support business processes and technical issue resolution through knowledge and expertise.
- Focus on the application of procedures and implementation of changes while advising operational teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or vocational training with extensive knowledge of procurement processes.

- Ability to gain experience through structured in-house training.
