Key Responsibilities- Provide basic nursing care to patients, following established standards and procedures.
- Collect patient data, including vital signs, and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications, perform routine tests, and treat wounds and injuries.
- Prepare patient records and files, using established medical record forms and documentation practices.
- Participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care, based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing program.
- Current/valid Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse from the state licensing board.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- May require additional specialty certifications.
- One (1) year experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting.
- Specialty clinic experience.
This role requires the ability to:
- See and read information, labels, and patient data.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Manipulate complex equipment with precision and accuracy.
- Lift and transfer patients, as needed.
- Walk and assist with transporting patients and supplies.
