Contract Negotiator

The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing and administering government contracts, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company policies. This role will involve reviewing and negotiating contracts, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and providing guidance on contract-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and analyze government contracts to ensure compliance with federal regulations and company policies
* Negotiate and draft contracts, including redlining and revising terms and conditions
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including finance and legal, to ensure contract compliance
* Provide guidance and support to internal teams on contract-related matters
* Track and maintain accurate contract records
Requirements:
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in government contract support or leadership roles, including 5 years working with US Department of Defense (DoD) contracts and subcontracts
* Experience reviewing and understanding contract terms, redlining and successfully negotiating key terms and conditions
* Knowledge of intellectual property considerations in DoD contracting
* Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts across various programs/projects with key deadlines
* High level of familiarity with the FAR/DFARS and its flowdown/cascade through contract tiers
* High level of proficiency in MS Office applications and tools
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Comfortable with confidential information and applying safeguarding processes
Additional Desirable Experience:
* Experience working with government contracts with suppliers, including implementing requirements related to being a government contractor
