Job Summary:

Endicott College is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor to teach CMM204 Promotional Writing in the School of Social Sciences, Communications & Humanities.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach the CMM204 course in its assigned time block, following the existing syllabus template and honoring the course's description learning outcomes and status as an official writing designated course.
  • Be aware of and abide by Endicott's academic policies, policies in the college's faculty handbook, and any policies that may be in place due to COVID-19 or any variant thereof.
  • Use Canvas as the course's learning management system.
  • Meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades.
  • Communicate with the Faculty Lead for Communication if and when issues arise concerning the teaching of CMM204.
  • Meet with students if they request assistance or need clarification for any course-related matter.
  • Provide samples of student work for assessment purposes, if requested.
  • Use their Endicott email address when communicating with students.

Qualifications:

  • Master's required, doctorate preferred. Although candidates who have significant industry experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Teaching experience required, preferably at the college level.
