Care Specialist

At the NEEDS Center, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Support Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting adults with developmental disabilities to live independently and thrive in their communities.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a diverse team to provide high-quality care and services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and support individuals with autism in their daily routines.
- Support residents in developing daily living skills.
- Help implement clinical, educational, and vocational programs.
- Observe and record data for programs established in individual and behavior support plans.
- Participate with other team members to create a therapeutic environment that includes regular community membership.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with behavior management preferred.
- Good driving record.
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
