Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Team Member to join our team at Hangry Joe's Dover. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to an exceptional dining experience by working closely with our Restaurant Managers and other Team Members to maintain operational standards and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations and work multiple stations
  • Front of the house focused duties, including opening cash registers and answering the phone
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, including dining room, restroom, and exterior
  • Transfer and store supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; restock tools and supplies for the next shift
  • Back of the house focused duties, including inspecting and cleaning food preparation areas and ensuring freshness of food and ingredients
  • Season and cook food according to recipes and maintain temperature logs
  • Wash pots, pans, and trays and polish silver
  • Sweep and mop floors, wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surface areas
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous knowledge of food service regulations is preferred
  • ServeSafe of Food Handlers certification (or must be willing to attain)
  • Friendly and customer-focused personality
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to lift 30 Ibs or more
  • Able to work standing for 8+ hours
