Key Responsibilities:
1. Administer weekly payroll for staff, ensuring thorough audits, appropriate benefit deductions, garnishments, and tax calculations.

2. Document daily financial transactions and finalize the posting process.

3. Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger entries.

4. Assist with accounts payable duties, including invoice processing, matching, batching, coding, and executing payments.

5. Manage accounts receivable tasks, such as invoicing, collecting payments, and reviewing aging reports.

6. Prepare and execute bank deposits, ensuring transactions are accurately entered into the accounting system.

7. Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.

8. Generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

9. Maintain precise and current financial records.

10. Liaise with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and facilitate seamless financial operations.

11. Assist during audits by providing necessary documentation.

12. Collaborate with the finance team on various projects and tasks as required.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.

2. Demonstrated experience as an Accounting Specialist or in a comparable role.

3. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.

4. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

5. Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

7. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

8. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

9. Capacity to manage confidential information with care.
