Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor to join our team at Loves Travel Stops & Country Store. As a Hotel Night Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial accuracy and integrity of our hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct nightly audits to ensure accurate financial reporting and identify any discrepancies or irregularities.
  • Process guest transactions, including check-outs, room assignments, and payment processing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of guest transactions, including room rates, packages, and promotions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Front Desk team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of guest services.
  • Perform nightly balancing of in-room video and long-distance telephone services.
  • Perform express checkout folios and maintain accurate room key inventory.
  • Communicate all pertinent shift information to the Front Desk Supervisor and General Manager.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior customer service, cash handling, and office accounting or auditing experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn and operate a cash register.
  • Ability to learn and perform basic office/clerical tasks.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management skills, organization skills, and a strong work ethic.
Work Environment

This role will be primarily working within an office environment, interacting with guests face-to-face and over the phone. The noise level in the work environment will be at a low level.
