Hotel Night Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team at Love's Travel Stops. As a Night Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring a profitable and well-operated business. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct all nightly audit-related duties while maintaining and promoting excellence in hospitality and customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers in a courteous and efficient manner, both face-to-face and on the phone.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and local area information.
- Input and retrieve information from the computer, including guest information, room rates, and additional charges.
- Assist guests with check-out, ensuring rooms are serviced and ready for the next guest.
- Operate a cash register and maintain an accurate and organized drawer.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and friendly manner.
- Field guest complaints, conduct research, and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.
- Perform nightly balancing of in-room video and long-distance telephone services.
- Perform nightly backup of the server.
- Perform express checkout folios.
- Perform room key inventory.
- Communicate all pertinent shift information to the Front Desk Supervisor, General Manager, and desk staff.
- Maintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior customer service, cash handling, and office accounting or auditing experience preferred.
- Ability to learn and operate a cash register.
- Ability to learn and perform basic office/clerical tasks.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will primarily be working within an office environment working directly with the public face-to-face and over the phone. Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high-concentrated cleaning solutions, dust, dirt, or grime. The noise level in the work environment will be at a low level.
