Job Title: Outside Sales Representative

At NABCO Entrances, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maximizing our market share and revenue by selling our products and services to customers in support of our financial, marketing, and production goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate new sales and target new accounts in an assigned territory.
  • Work closely with branch and headquarter employees to achieve sales objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in our CRM system for quoting, selling, and placing orders.
  • Perform duties associated with the sales process of furnishing, installing, and servicing automatic doors and components.
  • Prospect customers, present information, consult, estimate, generate quotes, secure contracts, manage projects, and perform other related tasks associated with turnkey projects.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, sales, and distribution processes, as well as our product line and competition.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer and results-driven.
  • Concise and professional written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work positively and effectively with people at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and creative with a strong desire to succeed and surpass goals.
  • Must be an excellent negotiator with the ability to call on new customers/accounts to increase sales margins.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, etc.).
  • Ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Highly organized with the tenacity to succeed in a growing and fast-paced organization.
  • Forward-thinking, adaptable, and creative leader, capable of strategic thinking and planning.
  • Able to manage change, influence others, be a team player, and gain group commitment.
  • Willing to travel on a daily basis by personal vehicle and public transportation.
  • Must have an insured and reliable vehicle and a clear driver's license history.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two or more years' experience in outside direct sales and service of automatic doors or similar products.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, Operations, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop sales.
  • Experience working with general contractors and end users.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

Work environment is dynamic. Significant travel is required since frequent and regular visits to customers and potential customers are necessary. Must drive, walk, and work in all weather conditions, including hazardous on rare occasion. Periods of sitting and working at a computer may also be necessary. Sedentary work is performed in an office. Typical office equipment such as a computer, laptop, and phone are used. There may be exposure to factories or jobsites that include noisy, dusty, and dirty environments and motorized equipment that may pose safety hazards. Reaching is necessary above shoulder height and below the waist. Lifting up to 30 lbs. as required to assist with materials; proper lifting techniques required. Travel may also be requested to any company manufacturing and branch locations in the US and Canada.
