About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CNA/Patient Care Tech to join our team at Northern Nevada Medical Center. As a per diem CNA/Patient Care Tech, you will provide safe and competent nursing assistant care to our patients, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Complete bedside shift reports in the room at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring patients receive clear communication about their care team.
  • Meet with supervising RNs at the start of each shift to receive delegation of tasks and ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Involves patients and families in care planning, addressing psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity needs.
  • Follows facility policies and procedures to promote patient safety, including safe environment, equipment safety practices, radiation safety, and fire prevention.
  • Adheres to fall precautions by performing or assisting patients with toileting/ADL care and never leaving them alone.
