About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit team at Sierra Medical Center. As a per diem nurse, you will have the opportunity to work a convenient day shift schedule and provide safe and high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and address the psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and population-specific needs of patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that integrate direct and indirect patient care activities.
  • Collaborate with the patient's designated care partner to meet their educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in hourly rounds to strengthen nurse communication, improve safety, and anticipate patient needs.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • Current Nevada nursing license.
  • Current BLS certificate.
  • One year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting preferred.
