Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions is seeking a skilled Program Manager to enhance operations within a prominent international automotive components manufacturing firm. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in project or engineering management, ideally within the automotive sector. This role is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.

Occasional travel to client locations and the company facility may be necessary as required.

Key Responsibilities of the Program Manager Include:

  • Oversee and maintain comprehensive documentation related to project progress, engineering modifications, and product specifications.
  • Engage with clients regarding project developments and provide timely updates.
  • Generate departmental and project activity reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients to resolve urgent inquiries, requests, or concerns.
  • Forecast potential inventory, material, and workforce requirements for projects.
  • Assist in financial planning and conduct cost analysis for efficiency improvements.
  • Facilitate and participate in meetings with internal teams and clients to discuss project status.
  • Manage the entire process of program initiation, including product development.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the Program Manager Position Include:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Program or Project Coordination, Engineering Administration, or Inside Sales, preferably in the automotive manufacturing field.
  • Experience with project launches involving Tesla.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills in a diverse environment.
  • Familiarity with PPAP, APQP, and DFMEA methodologies.
  • Experience with powertrain products is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

While performing the duties of this position, candidates may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform various physical activities.
