Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Accounting Administrator to join our team at Leading Commercial Playground Installer. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing various financial aspects of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable: Process invoices accurately and timely for payment approval, verify coding, approvals, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Accounts Receivable: Generate and manage client invoices, ensure accuracy and timeliness, and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Payroll Administration: Assist with biweekly payroll, verify hours through Time Clock Wizard, address payroll inquiries and discrepancies promptly, and assist with Sales Commission Calculations.
  • Financial Documentation: File preliminary notices and lien waivers as required for projects, reconcile monthly credit card, gas card, and bank statements, and prepare AIA G702/G703 pay application forms.
  • General Administrative Support: Assist with prequals, credit apps, licensing renewals, provide administrative support to management as needed, handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries professionally and efficiently, and obtain necessary Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
Requirements
  • Proven experience (25 years) in construction accounting, including AP, AR, and payroll functions.
  • Familiarity with percent complete construction draws, waivers, and preliminary notice filing.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in various software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, BuilderTrend, Textura, ProCore, LCP Tracker, OneDrive, MS Office Suite).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
