Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director, Global Medical Communications, Mature Brands to join our team at Takeda Pharmaceuticals. This dynamic role will collaborate with cross-functional partners to own one or more disease areas/assets on a global level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute medical communication plans for mature brands.
  • Manage global medical communications planning and execution for mature brands.
  • Own medical communication initiatives, ensuring quality and timely delivery against medical plans.
  • Actively manage asset resourcing and budgets to ensure quality and timely delivery against medical communication plans.
  • Proactively interface with cross-functional teams to provide scientific leadership and technical expertise across a disease state area.
Requirements
  • Relevant healthcare degree required; medical or scientific degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, preferably within a matrix structure and medical affairs roles.
  • Strong collaborator able to inspire teamwork.
  • Critical thinker able to understand complex scenarios and focus on priorities.
  • Good knowledge of medical communication approaches and best practices.
  • Familiarity with international regulatory and legal guidelines regarding medical communication strategy and execution.
