Key Responsibilities
  • Wastewater Treatment Operations: Operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems, including pumps, centrifuges, and other equipment, to ensure efficient and effective treatment of wastewater.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks, such as greasing bearings, lubricating equipment, and checking fluid levels, to prevent equipment failure and ensure smooth operation.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks, including threading pipe and assembling equipment, to maintain and repair wastewater treatment systems.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and control the quality of wastewater treatment processes, including sampling and testing, to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in wastewater treatment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of experience in wastewater treatment operations or a related field preferred.
