Key Responsibilities of the Audiovisual Technician:

  • Set up and operate sound, lighting, and audiovisual equipment for live events and pre-recorded content, including:
    • Podcasts
    • Training materials
    • Social media content for marketing and promotion
    • Recording audio/video and directing video by switching cameras
    • Operating and recording audio/video from multiple cameras to comprehensively capture content
    • Streaming to various platforms
    • Additional tasks as assigned

The primary responsibility of the AV technician includes setting up and managing media equipment such as cameras, teleprompters, and equipment racks. This role also involves designing studio layouts, including arranging tables, seating, pipe/drape, scenery, lighting, and stages according to project objectives.

  • Sound and Video Operation and Troubleshooting:
    • Diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions
    • Ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly before recording sessions

Compensation will be based on experience, with options for full or part-time work available for discussion. This position will involve shooting content both on-site and at various locations depending on project requirements.
