Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  1. Research Execution (40%)
    - Design and conduct experiments in specified research areas.
    - Maintain accurate experimental records and documentation.

    - Work both independently and collaboratively to achieve laboratory objectives.
  2. Laboratory Development (25%)
    - Innovate and implement new research methodologies and protocols.

    - Develop sophisticated analytical models and systems.
    - Provide analytical support for strategic decision-making.
  3. Commitment to Research Excellence (30%)

  4. Routine Laboratory Operations (5%)
    - Engage in training sessions.

Qualifications

Required: A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field such as Medical Microbiology, Medical Biotechnology, or Immunology, with substantial experience in cellular and molecular biology. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Candidates should demonstrate a keen interest in conducting advanced laboratory experiments and contributing to their design, along with the ability to analyze and solve complex problems.


Preferred: Familiarity with techniques such as DNA extraction, PCR, cloning, ELISA, and cell culture. Experience in microbiome sequencing and bioinformatics is advantageous. Candidates with a track record of publishing in high-impact journals will be given special consideration.
