Housekeeper Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at the UIC Academic & Residential Complex. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of designated areas, including resident rooms, hallways, and common areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain resident rooms, hallways, and common areas, including vacuuming, mopping, and emptying trash
  • Ensure bathrooms are clean and well-stocked, including tubs, showers, and toilets
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
Requirements:
  • Three to six months of related experience and/or training
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions
