About the Role

Vivint, a leading smart home company, is seeking a seasoned Group Product Manager to lead our Ecosystem team. As a key member of our product organization, you will be responsible for delivering a strategic vision for future smart home experiences.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX, Program, and Engineering, to define and drive the product roadmap. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing innovative products that make the smart home even smarter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a group of product managers and drive strategic decision-making
  • Develop and embody a customer-centric culture within the team
  • Craft a compelling vision and strategy for the Ecosystem team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to inspire and rally support for your vision
  • Contribute to the development of 1-year and 3-year roadmaps
  • Owning all aspects of product development, from vision to execution
  • Balance discovery of new product opportunities with delivery of world-class product experiences
  • Build and maintain relationships across Vivint, from PM to Executive levels
  • Monitor product performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with the GTM team to prepare for product launches

Requirements

  • Proven experience in shipping customer experiences
  • Ability to influence across the organization
  • Independent vision-setting and roadmap development
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to coach others through ambiguous problems
  • Multi-tasking and priority management
  • Proven ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Clear communication across levels and departments
  • Comfortable creating structured solutions
  • Deep commitment to solving customer problems and empathy for the consumer

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years leading product management teams
  • Hardware experience (preferred)
  • IoT experience (preferred)
  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Design, Business, or a related field (preferred)
