Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative/Forklift Operator. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of U-Box containers to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload U-Box containers onto and off truck beds for delivery to and from a storage facility.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including the sale of support items and use of online dispatch and rental systems.
  • Perform customer-ready inspections of U-Box containers prior to dispatch and upon return.
  • Prepare, receive, and provide documentation for the delivery or pickup of goods.
  • Ensure the warehouse storage facility is clean, dry, and secure.
  • Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
  • Forklift experience.
Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
