About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team at Edgewood Center for Children and Families. As a Clinician, you will be responsible for triaging crisis cases, clinically assessing clients, and providing crisis intervention services to children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage crisis cases and clinically assess clients to determine the level of care required
  • Provide crisis intervention services, including psychological and behavioral interventions, to clients and families
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct individual and family sessions to gather information and formulate appropriate dispositions and safety plans
  • Engage in crisis interventions and de-escalation techniques, including the application of conflict resolution and collaborative problem-solving techniques
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, or related field
  • Registered with the BBS as an Associate or Licensed
  • Experience working with children, youth, and families experiencing acute crisis
  • Experience working with at-risk, disenfranchised, and/or minority populations
  • Experience working with children, youth, and families that have been or are involved in issues relating to trauma and/or abuse
