- Identify critical business challenges and propose viable solutions, including the development of business cases for project justifications.
- Create detailed project plans that clearly outline scopes, responsibilities, timelines, and procurement strategies.
- Ensure adherence to project objectives concerning safety, budget, scope, and quality through effective metrics and benchmarking.
- Develop technical specifications for vendor and contractor services.
- Coordinate procurement processes to secure necessary materials and services for project execution.
- Negotiate with vendors and contractors to manage scope changes and ensure timely project delivery.
- Monitor design and construction activities for compliance with industry standards and quality assurance.
- Review and approve design documents to ensure alignment with company standards.
- Communicate effectively with management to secure necessary approvals and manage project risks.
- Develop and approve procedures for project startup and testing phases.
- Train operational personnel on newly implemented systems.
- Document business processes within relevant divisions.
- Coordinate construction management activities to ensure quality assurance.
- Conduct performance testing in collaboration with technical leads.
- Provide expert support to Power Generation Operations and Maintenance teams.
- Analyze project data and generate comprehensive reports.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Possess a robust understanding of project management methodologies and practices. Ability to manage complex assignments independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Demonstrated capability in overseeing medium-scale capital and operational projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional certification.
Initiative, results-driven, high-quality work delivery, project completion focus, effective interpersonal communication, and project coordination skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent technical experience in power generation.
