Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to determine respiratory care needs and make recommendations for treatment.
- Assess the effectiveness of treatment and accurately document patient information.
- Perform advanced evaluation, management, and therapeutic procedures for patients requiring respiratory assistance.
- Collaborate with a highly skilled clinical team to provide comprehensive care.
- Facilitate smooth transitions for patients to appropriate referral services or home care.
- Provide education to patients and families on respiratory issues.
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
- 2 years of relevant experience in pulmonary rehabilitation, respiratory care, or sleep medicine.
- Licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan.
- CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Heart Association.
- CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
This is a full-time position with a 36-hour workweek. The shift is night shift, with hours from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The position requires working every third weekend.
