Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Art Director to lead our wearable experiences team. As a key member of our art team, you will be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team of artists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects, and maintaining a culture of executional excellence.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 3D Artists, Concept Artists, Motion Designers, Technical Artists, and Art Managers to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Partner with Product Management, Design, and Engineering Leadership to ensure team success and define goals for key features within various projects.
  • Develop and maintain visual systems and standards, guiding the team to develop best practices for quality and innovation.
  • Provide feedback and direction to the team to raise the quality and innovation bar.
  • Collaborate with Producers to drive an efficient and scalable process for the team.
  • Contribute to the organization's product strategy.

Requirements
  • Over 5+ years of experience managing full-time artists and 10+ years developing and launching projects for wearable technologies like VR/AR, with expertise in real-time rendering and a background in branding, design, or gaming.
  • Demonstrated experience managing 2D/3D art and animation pipelines and vendor-based asset creation.
  • Experience driving operational changes and aligning teams to a strategic vision by solving conflicts and misalignments.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, nurture, and grow talent.
  • Experience with roadmapping and budget management.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience shipping products and leading teams in the AR/VR industry.
  • Experience with generative AI tools and techniques, including prompt AI-assisted design.
  • Experience in Unreal, Unity, or other real-time applications.
