At Grow Public Schools, we're seeking an HR Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will assist with human resources activities to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process various documents, including verifications of employment and leaves of absence paperwork.
  • Reconcile medical, dental, vision, and ancillary product bills.
  • Support onboarding activities, such as creating employee badges and facilitating mandatory training.
  • Support recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and reference checks.
  • Assist with large projects, such as Performance Management and Open Enrollment.
  • Maintain accurate records in the HRIS database and ensure employee personnel files are up-to-date.
  • Maintain records on certificated staff permits or credentials.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.
  • You should be able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to manage multiple projects are required.

Education and Experience:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in an educational or non-profit setting, is preferred.
