Job Title: Cyber Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Operations Specialist to join our team at Prescient Edge. As a Cyber Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting cyber operations, including cyber collection, cyber effects enabling activities, and cyber effects operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise the training audience on target recognition, target prioritization, and accessibility, and cost/benefit analysis of potential targeting actions.
  • Integrate with the G-7 intelligence section to ensure the cyber environment is fully nested within the overall exercise scenario target network and supports the BST tactical, strategic, and operational training objectives.
  • Assist the G-7 Intelligence section in the creation, operation, and management of multiple social media personas for targetable individuals, create associated personal websites and social media accounts, related online information sources, role player scripts actively engaged in cyber space communications (messages, social media posts, location updates), and other realistic cyber exercise injects.
  • Design, install, operate, and maintain cyber target infrastructure and provide detailed documentation and access for each device, platform, account, and persona throughout the planning and execution of the URXBST exercise events.
  • Ensure all cyber accounts/profiles/equipment supporting episodic role players are functional at the start of each event.
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of military or civilian experience conducting cyber enabling operations or working with a Cyber Planning Team (CPT) or Cyber Mission Team (CMT) (SOCOM, USCYBERCOM, MARFORCYBER, etc.) required.
  • Three years of SMU experience with emphasis on conducting cyber enabling operations desired.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of fundamental Cyber Operations and OSINT required.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of computer network, e-mail server, and VPN operations required.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of offensive cyber operations TTPs required.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of defensive cyber operations TTPs desired.
  • Graduate of relevant/accredited OSINT Certification course required/desired (Berber Hunter Tool Kit or equivalent).
  • Possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license.
Education:
  • Certified Ethical Hacker Certification, COMPTIA A+/Net+/Sec+, Offensive Security Certification Professional (OSCP), USCYPERCOM Workrole Certification, desired.
Security Clearance:
  • TS/SCI clearance verified in DISS and must be cleared per Marine Corps policy for validating and clearing personnel.

  • HQ MARFORSOC, Camp Lejeune, NC.
