Job Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a prominent non-profit organization seeking to enhance their financial team in Jacksonville, FL by adding a Financial Operations Specialist.

Role Summary:

The Financial Operations Specialist will undertake a comprehensive array of conventional accounting responsibilities alongside grant-related financial tasks. This role will manage the financial records and accounting associated with both federal and private grant funding. The Specialist will primarily oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Accounts Payable entries and perform reconciliations.
  • Process and distribute all vendor payments.
  • Input Credit Card transactions into the financial management system.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries for financial tracking.
  • Support the month-end closing procedures and financial reporting activities.
  • Assist with payroll processing.
  • Compile analyses and schedules as required for the annual financial audit.
  • Record daily payments received.
  • Manage Fixed Asset tracking.
  • Update procedural documentation related to assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word).
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Capability to prioritize various assignments and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to think critically and propose enhancements for productivity improvements.
  • Team collaboration is essential for success in this position.

Compensation: $440,000.00 to $470,000.00 annually.
