Director of Accounting Opportunity

Vaco is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to lead our client's finance and accounting teams. As a Director of Accounting, you will be responsible for overseeing the general ledger, financial reporting, internal controls, and general ledger management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of the general ledger system, including chart of accounts maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance with auditing standards.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field.
  • CPA required.
  • Public accounting experience highly preferred.
  • Large PE-backed environments preferred.
