About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Operator E to join our team at Arclin. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Monitoring and Control: Monitor machine centerlines to minimize downtime and scrap, and perform various tasks to maintain optimal production levels.
  • Material Handling and Packaging: Operate a sit-down forklift to transfer finished products, package products for transit, and print product labels.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments to meet production and shipping schedules, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Participate in the Joint Health and Safety Committee to identify and implement safety improvements, and follow all site rules and procedures to ensure quality, health, and environmental compliance.
  • Process Improvement and Troubleshooting: Identify opportunities for process improvements, and work with the engineering and maintenance team to implement changes. Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED, with forklift experience and certification a plus. Ability to drive a Tractor/Tanker unit or learn to do so.
  • Skills and Abilities: Analytical and mechanical mindset, basic computer skills, and ability to operate safely in a manufacturing environment. Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb frequently, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
