About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team of manufacturing professionals at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of a represented workforce to achieve quality, schedule, and cost objectives in the Component Final Finishes areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily assignment of tasks of coaters and ensure their proper execution while maintaining cost and schedule.
  • Execute build plans for coaters and identify and implement changes to improve quality, schedule, and cost efficiency.
  • Reinforce a culture that prioritizes First Time Right (FTR) and Foreign Object Damage prevention and ensure the certification of employees performing tasks requiring certification.
  • Provide a safe work environment and take timely corrective actions to address unsafe conditions.
  • Ensure that employees and leadership comply with established Core processes and program-specific procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience with Aeronautics or Aerospace manufacturing/productions methodologies in a professional environment.
  • Experience in managing a team using tools, &/or systems typically used in a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Experience business metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, &/or quality).
  • MS Office proficiency, mainly with Teams, Outlook, and Excel.
