About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Remediation Engineer to join our team in Long Beach, Orange, or Los Angeles, California. As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for leading environmental projects, conducting site investigations, and developing remediation plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remediation system operation and maintenance
  • Serve as task lead for environmental projects under the supervision of a Project Manager
  • Coordinate efforts of subcontractors and field/support staff
  • Project and task support, data analysis, report writing, and design support
  • Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established procedures
  • Provide guidance to entry-level engineers
Requirements
  • BA/BS in Environmental Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education
  • Valid Driver's License
  • US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
  • Five to ten years of experience
  • P.E. License for California or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-hour annual refresher certification
