Compensation Range: $30 - $35 per hour, for experienced mechanics only.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a positive relationship between the company and clients, acting professionally and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Thoroughly assess and diagnose equipment issues, recommending appropriate service and repair solutions.
  • Carry out necessary repairs or modifications on equipment.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment efficiently.
  • Document each service call and repair accurately and neatly, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Maintain the serviceability and accountability of all company equipment.
  • Keep the company service vehicle (if assigned as a Road Technician) clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Manage and secure service and parts inventory within the company vehicle.
  • Provide and maintain personal tools necessary for effective equipment servicing.
  • Ensure the work area remains clean and free of hazards.
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Electrical and Industrial Battery Charger repair is advantageous.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with three or more years of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience in the forklift or equipment repair sector.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to comprehend necessary service manuals and schematics.
  • Capable of safely operating power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks, and overhead cranes.

Typical Work Schedule: The standard work hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including a half-hour lunch break.

Lead Generation: Develop a comprehensive understanding of all products and services offered by Tri-Lift Industries, with the aim of suggesting and providing leads to other departments for products that can enhance our customers' operations.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands outlined here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. The ability to perform strenuous and heavy work is required, including exerting force up to 100 pounds occasionally and frequently handling loads up to 50 pounds. Physical stamina is necessary for continuous activities such as climbing, reaching, pulling, walking, and lifting. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands for various tasks, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally. The employee frequently walks and may need to climb or balance. The employee may also need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
