Position Overview:
We are currently expanding our team and seeking dedicated Premium Auditors. In this role, you will be responsible for examining the financial records of insurance firms to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Your primary duties will involve investigating potential fraud and verifying adherence to these standards. This position allows for remote work, with daily travel required to various audit sites. On average, you will travel four days a week within your designated area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough insurance premium audits for Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile policies by reviewing policyholder records and applying established guidelines and company standards.
  • Prepare for audits by identifying necessary information and types of records required.
  • Organize schedules to optimize time management.
  • Communicate with insured parties via phone, email, and mail to arrange audit appointments.
  • Review policyholder records, collect data to determine appropriate classifications for business activities, and draft effective operational descriptions.
  • Compile comprehensive audit documentation, present findings to insured parties, and relay results to the home office.
  • Travel to multiple audit locations on a daily or weekly basis.
Qualifications:
  • An Associate's Degree or equivalent experience, with two years of premium auditing experience preferred; entry-level candidates willing to learn are also encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial documents.
  • Proficient in general computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with Visual Audit is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage options.

  • Salary range of $44,700 - $55,000, commensurate with experience.
