Key Responsibilities- Assist medical providers and nurse peers in the care and treatment of patients, performing complex nursing tasks and related duties as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on health and wellness topics, including immunization and disease prevention.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for optimal care.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, ensuring timely and secure access to medical information.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices and policies.
- Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing and one year of practical nursing experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting.
- Licensure as a Practical Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing.
- BLS CPR certification.
- Experience with electronic health records and proficiency in computer programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
