**Job Title:** Clinical Pharmaceutical Assistant

**Estimated Salary:** $45,000 - $60,000 per year

Nexus Health Systems Ltd is committed to providing exceptional patient care, and we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Pharmaceutical Assistant to join our pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Works under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy to fill routine orders and prepare pre-packaged pharmaceuticals.
  2. Maintains a thorough understanding of the assigned age-specific patient population's needs and preferences.
  3. Effectively communicates with the Administration team and nursing staff to ensure effective collaboration.
  4. Prepares and reviews cost analyses for medications on pre-admission evaluations.
  5. Ensures timely availability of medications and maintains a well-organized pharmacy environment.
  6. Monitors and manages medication therapies according to established protocols.

Essential Requirements:

  • Holds a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
  • Registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a hospital setting and IV certification are highly desirable.
